Neighbourhood Watch in the parish

If you are interested in forming a new Neighbourhood Watch network in our parish, please come to a meeting at 7pm on 10 October 2011 at the Jubilee Room in the grounds of Adbaston Parish Church. This will be prior to our normal Parish Council meeting that nominally begins at 7.30pm.

We hope to revive Neighbourhood Watch which will simply mean that any notification of criminal or suspicious activity in one part of the parish will be relayed to other parts by mobile phone, telephone call or email as part of a network of communication.

This will also tie in with the Staffordshire Police Force's own Community system that supports local initiatives such as this.

To this end, the Parish Council has invited Ash Connor - Community Engagement Officer from Chase Watch - to join us for the meeting and explain the workings of Neighbourhood Watch.

If you are not interested, but know someone who may be, please pass this message to them.

If you are interested and intend to attend, could you please RSVP to the Chairman of the Parish Council - Nick Evans - so that we have an idea of numbers? You can find his details on the Contact page.

If you are interested but cannot attend, please likewise, RSVP.
